I have both and there's little to choose between them in terms of
performance or reliability, IME.
I guess it would come down to the features. Does one have a feature you need
that the other lacks?

Either will accommodate your X2 with a newer BIOS (I have X2's in both).

I think the more pertinent question is where you plan to acquire these
boards. I checked a couple of the big online vendors, and neither listed
these motherboards. I suspect they're both out of production. Do you have a
source?
