Running WinXP Home with Nvidia graphics card and AC97 onboard sound.
Have the latest drivers and bios. Recently, I noticed only ONE of my
desktop speakers is working. I have plugged in 2 different sets of
speakers and only one of those works. Is the element fried??? Instead
of RMA, is it best to just buy a regular sound card like I use to do?

TIA

You could try updating the Realtek drivers. Realtek is the
maker of your onboard sound. Works for me. And I use the
latest Nvidia sound drivers on top of that.

Thanks, but I have the latest drivers.
I found the problem. It was within Winamp and fixed now.
