I know that this fan on the motherboard chipset is known to cause
problems.

How do I remove this noisy fan? I cant find any asus instructions;

And what kind of fan should I replace it with ?

thanks all

Call ASUS they sent me a Heat Sink for my Chipset on my A8V-SE Deluxe board.
You cannot buy those fans anywhere.

I too have a strange fan. One time the computer shut down automatically
and when I came home trying to start it the fan sounded really bad and
a message that the temperature was too high and fan speed too low came
up. Could that be the motherboard fan or which fan could it be? I
turned the computer off and vacuum-cleaned it for dust around the fans
and after that it has vanished, but I guess it will probably return.

Asus A8N-sli deluxe motherboard is what I am using.
